Took a walk here to see the three new sculptures by acclaimed sculptor Alex Chinneck - well actually one more has appeared. Really worth going to see them on a sunny day and spend some time sitting on the (artificial) lawn. Wonder what Alex will do next?

It was a fantastic venue for the Bristol Apprentice #meetup on Thursday, 30th November, and Apprentices had a fantastic evening listening to keynote speakers from the Apprentice World.🌍

Great office, lots of space, amazing facilities team, my review rating is about the surrounding area which has many reports of drug dealing and knife attacks. No available parking unless pre booked which is great for drivers with a disability. Local public transport can be unreliable to her but good away from here. 10 minute walk to the railway station.

A striking landmark, although where the entrance is, is unclear during daylight: Where it should be, ie the front middle of the building, there's a two-storey gap instead. Fortunately for me, I had a meeting there as it was getting dark, which highlighted where the entrance lobby is: On the right wall of the front hole, towards the back. There, security will check if you're on the appointments list (and if I can get on it, anyone can), call up, and someone will come down and let you through the security barriers. Then into the lifts, to wherever your meeting-point is. The lifts here are more like cargo lifts for size, and there are plenty of them. The building is well soundproofed, and the presentation/networking areas are well laid out. This is one of three blocks in the Assembly development, which will eventually surround a probably-public central space. This one was the first one to be completed, and it's all British Telecom Group's. This one seems to be primarily devoted to coding and running various internal projects. The people are friendly, the seats are comfy, and the pace is fast.
